Board Information

The Arizona State Retirement System Board of Trustees generally meets on the fourth Friday of the month. Types of the issues discussed by the Board are: legislative updates, investment presentations and reports, appeals, approval of new employers and various reports. The Board also sets time for calls to the public, during which anyone may address the Board.

In addition, there are three Board Committees, which also meet regularly.

The Investment Committee meets to discuss fund performance and to review investment procedures, requests and mandates.

The External Affairs Committee meets to discuss potential legislation and other retirement-related policy issues.

The Operations and Audit Committee meets to discuss the ASRS budget and other internal fiscal and policy issues.

The ASRS also posts the official Minutes from Board of Trustee and Committee meetings. They are posted to the website once they are approved, which takes place at the following meeting.

Members of the public are welcome to attend all Board and Committee meetings.

Agendas are posted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the meeting. Agendas and meeting dates and times are subject to change prior to the 24-hour notice.
