ASRS Member Education Sessions are Now Online Only
During this time of enhanced health and safety concerns, ASRS in-person Member Education group meetings have been replaced with live, online webinars and pre-recorded videos. To be able to ask questions, register for an online webinar. The pre-recorded Route 4 can be found below.
The last leg of your journey is Route 4: Next Exit - Retirement! This live online webinar or in-person group meeting is designed to help you finalize your retirement choices.
We explain the decisions you need to make when you apply for retirement, such as selecting your pension option, health insurance options, and returning to work after retirement.
Attendees will receive a customized benefit estimate and instructions for completing the retirement application online.
Know Your Insurance
You may also wish to sign up for a Know Your Insurance in-person group meeting or live online webinar. Our ASRS Retiree Group Health Insurance vendors provide a breakdown of the medical and dental plans offered at retirement. You will learn about the ASRS Premium Benefit and how medical and dental insurance costs are determined. Members are encouraged to attend in the calendar year they plan to retire.
