ASRS Basics for Employers Returns in June

    • • Are you a new ASRS Employer Web User?
    • • Were you recently designated as an Ending Payroll Verification Specialist?
    • • Are you now responsible for maintaining the contribution summary report for your employer?
    • • Not sure what the difference is between a Long Term Disability (LTD) Associate and an LTD Signer?
    • • Do you need help completing your first Annual Employer-Provided Health Insurance Plans and Premiums Packet?

If you’ve recently been hired or have taken on a new position with ASRS-related responsibilities, the ASRS Basics for Employers series is designed to help you succeed.  This series includes five webinars covering essential topics like membership eligibility, enrollment processing, contribution reporting, health insurance premiums, long-term disability, service verification, and completing ending payroll verification forms. The series is also open to anyone seeking refresher training on any of the topics offered.

The next Employer Basics Series begins on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

There are five webinar topics in total, and you can choose to attend only the webinar(s) that pertain to your role or the full series.  Each webinar has a morning and an afternoon session. Each webinar session will cover the full topic, so there’s no need to register for both sessions on the same topic. Four webinars will be led by a subject matter expert from the Employer Services team. Barry O’Dowd from Broadspire will lead the Long Term Disability webinar.

To register for any (or all) of the webinars in the ASRS Basics for Employers Series, please log in to your ASRS Employer Secure Account to view the schedule and register for sessions you wish to attend.
