Return to Work Form Update

Thank you for all of your assistance with the successful implementation of the online Retiree Return to Work smart form. This online process began in June 2014 and in recent months we have seen more than 80 percent of the Return to Work forms submitted online. The feedback we've received is that the forms are fast and easy-to-use. Submissions have been virtually error-free, allowing them to be processed more swiftly.

Because of this success, the ASRS will no longer accept paper Retiree Return to Work forms as of January 1, 2015. Please discard any paper forms you may have printed or saved. Retirees should be directed to log into their secure myASRS account on the ASRS website to access the Retiree Return to Work smart form. If they require additional assistance logging into their account or beginning the online process, please refer them to the ASRS Member Services Division.

The online Retiree Return to Work smart form applies only to retirees hired as direct employees. Any ASRS retirees returning to work via a third-party or as an independent contractor are not required to complete this form.
