Jeff Tyne has an extensive career of service in municipal government. He currently serves as Deputy City Manager for the City of Peoria, Arizona, where he oversees city operations and public safety. Previously he served as Management and Budget Director, as well as the Interim Community Services Director at the City. 
 
He has previously worked for both the Cities of Chandler and Glendale, Arizona. Prior to his work in Arizona, Mr. Tyne was an analyst with MSI Public Sector Consulting in California. 
 
Mr. Tyne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Masters in Public Administration from Arizona State University. 
 
He is a past president of the Government Finance Officers Association of Arizona and Chair of the national Standing Committee on Economic Development and Capital Planning of the GFOA. He is also a training instructor with the GFOA. 
 
Mr. Tyne is a member of the State Nominating Committee for the Commission on Appellate Court Appointments and has completed the ICMA Emerging Leaders Development Program.
