Professor Dennis Hoffman is a respected expert on the economy with a strong academic career rooted in teaching and research.
Professor Hoffman is a Professor of Economics and Director of the L. Wm. Siedman Research Institute, W. P. Carey School of Business, at Arizona State University.
Professor Hoffman has served in numerous roles at Arizona State over his 34-year tenure, including University Economist, Associate Dean for Research, Faculty Director at the Center for Competitiveness and Prosperity Research, and has been selected to the Deans Council of 100 Distinguished Scholars, 1998-present.
Professor Hoffman is a Fulbright Research Scholar and Senior Lecturer, University of Lund, Sweden and University College, Galway Ireland and previously taught at Michigan State University.
He holds a Ph.D. and Master of Arts degree in Economics from Michigan State University and Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics & economics from Grand Valley State Colleges.
Has published in numerous academic journals and is a frequent lecturer and interview subject on the state of the economy.
