Open Enrollment Ends Friday, Nov. 11

Open Enrollment for retiree insurance benefits for calendar year 2017 began Monday, October 24, 2016, and continues through Friday, November 11, 2016. Selections become effective January 1, 2017.  Open Enrollment packets are being mailed to eligible participants, and updated information has been posted to the Open Enrollment and Healthcare pages.

Open Enrollment is the period during which retirees and eligible members on long-term disability (LTD) may enroll in, make changes to current healthcare coverages, or add eligible family members not currently enrolled. This is the only time retirees and eligible members on LTD can make changes to their health-care coverage, except in the case of a Qualifying Life Event.

This year’s Open Enrollment is again a passive enrollment, meaning if you are satisfied with your current coverage and do not wish to make any changes, no action is required. Your 2016 coverages will simply roll over to 2017.

Open Enrollment meetings have been scheduled throughout Arizona, during which insurance representatives make formal presentations about the medical and dental plans along with information on other benefits. No appointment is necessary - just come to the meeting on the date and time that best suits your schedule.  See the 2017 Retiree Open Enrollment meeting schedule to select the meeting of your choice.
