If you’ve recently been hired or have taken on a new position with ASRS-related responsibilities, the ASRS Basics for Employers series is designed to help you succeed. This series includes five webinars covering essential topics like membership eligibility, enrollment processing, contribution reporting, health insurance premiums, long-term disability, service verification, and completing ending payroll verification forms.
The ASRS Employer Basics Webinars provide essential training for new and existing ASRS employer web users. Our next session begins on June 23, 2025. The series is also open to anyone needing refresher training on any of the topics we offer.
There are five webinar topics in total, and you can choose from two sessions for each one. Each session will cover the full topic, so there’s no need to register for both sessions of the same topic. Four webinars will be led by a member of the Employer Relations team, and a subject matter expert from our Financial Services Division will be available to answer any questions. Barry O’Dowd from Broadspire will lead the Long Term Disability webinar.
To register for any (or all) of the webinars in the ASRS Basics for Employers Series, visit this link or scan the QR code below. This will take you to the Google registration form. You do not need to log into your ASRS Secure Employer Account to register. Using the Google Form platform allows those who may not have an ASRS Secure Employer Account yet (or may not need one for their role) to register for the webinars.
Once registered, you will receive a calendar invitation from the ASRS Employer Relations Team within 2-3 business days, along with the Google Meet link for the webinar.
