ASRS Basics for Employers

The ASRS Basics for Employers is a three-hour workshop designed for staff who want an introduction or an update on ASRS functions and employer responsibilities concerning ASRS processes. The Basics workshop is aimed toward ASRS employer Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, and Administration personnel.  

Topics covered in the workshops include: an overview of the ASRS,  benefits of ASRS membership, ASRS membership eligibility, ASRS eligible compensation, employer termination incentive programs, contribution reporting, service purchase, retirement, refunds, return to work, and alternate contributions.

Register Online for workshops in Phoenix and Tucson:

1. LOG IN to your ASRS employer user account on the ASRS website.

2. Click EMPLOYER MEETING REGISTRATION from the left navigation menu.

3. Click on the SCHEDULE button to see available meetings.

4. Select your meeting, complete the information requested, and click REGISTER.
